Sequel to Boom Blox announced

Video game giant Electronic Arts and Hollywood icon Steven Spielberg recently announced plans to team up again for a follow-up to their physics-based adventure puzzler and UGC staple, BoomBlox. The press release promised a host of added features, along with hundreds of additional levels for users.



Currently titled BoomBlox Bash Party, the new project is slated to include new block types, new types of levels, and "richer multi-player action." In addition, the updated Create Mode is touted to give users "access to the same tool set the EA development team used to create each and every level in the game."Players can expect new blocks to include new shapes such as wedge and cylinder, and new properties such as virus and conveyor blocks. EA also described new zero gravity and underwater levels to challenge users.
