Trackmania Part Deux

The massively successful hit from Nadeo returns for their hugely anticipated game Trackmania 2: Canyon.  The second generation of Trackmania will take the Trackmania series beyond levels that the original game brought to the racing game experience.  Trackmania 2 will have fully customizable tracks that can be created by the player.  Do you want loops?  Check!  Ramps?  Check!  Wall rides?  Check!  There are several other additional stunts also included.  Let the race begin on August 17th as will begin the multiplayer beta for each person buying Trackmania 2 Canyon.

This is huge news for both Trackmania fans, and those wondering about the whole Maniaplanet series.  Trackmania 2 Canyon will be the first official Maniaplanet title.  The cost of the game is $24.99 USD.  The game will include the map editor AND mediatracker.  Mediatracker is the video editing software within the game.  Upon the release, the beta version will automatically update to the final complete version of the game.

For the Trackmania 2 Canyon game itself, there is incredible and pristine new graphics.  This is some of the best racing graphics I've seen to date.  It is optimized to run on most PCs.

The racing experience has been tweaked to be more realistic and more precise than ever.  You will be able to create your own tracks, cars, as well as scripts that have more design and programmable parameters than before.
