I used the grid technique we've all become familiar with to get the proportions as close as I could, and the image ended up being a lot more complicated than I originally expected, taking around 600 layers and over 10 hours to create.
Although this is a political design, I'd like to avoid political discussions in this thread and just focus on the design. I know that this is a respectful and mature community, but from my experience political discussions quickly become political arguments, and I don't want to see that happen.
